Beads Bordeaux & Chateaux 2018
Kinga Nichols was born in 1980, in Hungary. At 19, she packed up her life in a backpack and moved to the US where she has been residing since, albeit not at the same place. She currently lives in Boulder, Colorado with her husband Paul Nichols and fur-baby Samantha Regina Nichols. Samantha Regina is not only her muse but her model as well. Many of Kinga's best known pieces were popularized by the canine model.
One way or another Kinga has been always making things, which started turning into a career when she was painting murals at the time she lived in New York. The murals were fun, but she did not feel like painting was her calling. Eventually she picked up a bead and Button magazine in 2007, found a bead embroidery project, and slowly but surely the obsession took over.
After that first project, she started creating her own designs and quickly found her own distinctive voice that allowed her to translate her imaginings into beadwork. Kinga is always brainstorming, and her imagination provides an endless supply of fanciful ideas that she translates into bead embroidery.
Her work first got noticed in the first Battle of the Beadsmith, quickly followed by her being a BeadDreams finalist in 2013 and getting 3rd place in the same competition in the Swarovski category in 2014, and a book feature in Marcia Decoster Presents, 2014. In 2015 she won first place in the crystal category in BeadDreams. In 2013 she started teaching and she hopes to continue this as her chosen profession for a long time to come, not only passing on beady knowledge, but perhaps her unique way of looking at the world as a magical place filled with endless possibilities.
A "Hold My Spot" deposit of $90USD per person is due upon registration for this beading tour. The total deposit for a tour is $500USD per person. If all 20 class seats are filled by November 15, 2017 or before, the remaining $410 USD per person tour deposit will be payable within 15 days of that date. You will be notified and invoiced for this at the appropriate time. If the tour does not have enough guests to run by November 15, 2017, your deposit will be fully refunded.
Following that, the balance of the tour cost will be invoiced monthly with payments due on the 15th of each month, until JUNE 15, 2018.

Sept 12 - 23
Officially Sabine Lippert was a physician in her former life, but actually she was a crafter, a long time before she ever entered the university. So it was only a matter of time before her love for many kinds of crafting and needlework one day took over her life again. In 2006 she gathered her first quality beads and quickly started to create her own designs. After teaching some workshops locally, she had the opportunity to publish her first book in Germany (Beaders Cookbook 2009). Two other books followed in the USA (Beaded Fantasies 2012 and Beadwork Evolution 2014).
For years now she has been teaching internationally in Europe, the USA and Japan. Her designs are based on a multitude of techniques and she loves to fade one technique into another, to use the strength of each of them which leads to the intended structure of her jewelry. Her designs also have a wide range in style and structure, some are rather “everyday wearable”, others are made for the red carpet. Some are based on lots of crystals, others more subtle, playing with the multiple colors that seed beads offer, but all of them are made to enhance the little princess in you.
